Diabetic Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. flour
2 Tbsp. shortening
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. low-fat cottage cheese
Preparation

Squeeze cottage cheese through a sieve.
Cut shortening into flour
and\tsalt
until
the
consistency
of meal.
Add cottage cheese
and mix well with a fork until a ball of dough forms. Roll on lightly floured parsley cloth.
This will make 1 (8
or 9-inch)
crust.
To bake the pie shell, cook at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
