24-Hour Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg yolks
    juice of 1 lemon or 2 Tbsp. juice
    1/4 c. cream
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. whipping cream, whipped
    1 lb. green seedless grapes or 1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail, drained
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1/4 lb. nutmeats (pecans, walnuts)
    1 c. miniature marshmallows or 10 regular size, cut into quarters
Preparation
    Boil the first 4 ingredients together until thick; cool.
    Add whipped cream, fruit, nuts and marshmallows.
    Mix together; let stand overnight.
