Red Cabbage - Sweet And Sour - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head red cabbage
2 medium sized apples, cored and diced
2 c. water
2 Tbsp. vinegar
4 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. white pepper
golden raisins
1 Tbsp. butter, mixed into 2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Remove damaged outer leaves.
Wash cabbage head under cold running water.
Set on board and cut into quarters.
Remove core and shred finely.
Place in large pot.
Prepare apples and add to pot.
Then water, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
Cover and cook over medium heat for 1
hour, stirring frequently.
