Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. white syrup
    1/4 c. water
    3 c. raw Spanish peanuts
    3 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    In
    a
    heavy kettle, combine all the ingredients except soda. Heat
    to a boil and continue cooking until peanuts quit popping and
    is turning caramel colored.
    Add soda and pour in a large greased jelly roll pan.
    Cool and break into pieces.
