Sauteed Bay Scallops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bay scallops
    lemon wedges
    salt and pepper
    fine white bread crumbs
    1/4 c. dry vermouth
    1 small garlic clove, crushed
    4 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Place scallops in a bowl.
    Add vermouth, garlic, salt and pepper and mix well.
    Let stand for 1 hour, then drain well.
    Pat dry with paper towels.
    Roll scallops in bread crumbs and shake off excess.
    Melt butter over fairly high heat and saute scallops 2 minutes until golden.
    Remove with slotted spoon.
    Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
