Super Strawberry Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. fresh strawberries
    1 c. additional strawberries, sliced
    1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. light cream
Preparation
    Slice and puree 1 pint strawberries with lemon juice in a blender or food processor.
    Beat eggs and sugar until thick and lemon colored.
    Beat in cream.
    Stir in pureed strawberries. Process in an ice cream maker.
    Fold in additional strawberries after ice cream is processed but while it is still soft.
    For firmer ice cream, refreeze.
    Makes 2 quarts.
