Caramel Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
4 pinches salt
2 sticks oleo
1/2 tsp. soda
1 pinch cream of tartar
8 qt. popcorn
Preparation

Boil for 5 minutes the brown sugar, syrup, salt and oleo. Remove from heat.
Add soda and cream of tartar.
Pour over popcorn.
Stir for four minutes on cookie sheet or in shallow pan. Bake 1 hour at 250\u00b0.
Stir 2 or 3 times while baking.
Put in container and seal.
Keeps very good.
(So nice and crisp.)
