Shortbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar
3 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In large mixing bowl, beat the butter with the vanilla until smooth.
Gradually add the sugar and beat for about 5 minutes until smooth.
Continue beating while adding the flour, about 1/4 cup at a time until completely incorporated. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 3 minutes until smooth balls form.
