Sauerkraut Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 large can sauerkraut
    1 qt. stewed tomatoes
    1 c. sugar
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp, then break into pieces.
    Saute onion in bacon drippings.
    Place bacon, onion, sauerkraut, stewed tomatoes and sugar in casserole and stir to blend.
    Sprinkle with cheese. With lid on casserole, bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
