Deep Dark Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk, scalded
2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened Baker's chocolate
3 slightly beaten egg yolks
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix together milk and chocolate over a low temperature to scald.
Mix flour, sugar and salt in a separate pan. Pour milk and chocolate mixture gradually into flour mixture.
Put this mixture over low temperature and stir constantly! When mixture begins to thicken, stir in egg yolks slowly.
Cool, then add butter and vanilla.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Top with meringue and bake at 375\u00b0.
