Quick Lunchbox Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. soft butter
1 lb. can fruit cocktail (undrained)
1/2 c. chocolate bits
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Grease and flour bottom of 13 x 9 pan.
Combine all ingredients except chocolate bits and nuts in large mixer bowl. Blend well at lowest speed.
Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
Pour batter into pan.
Sprinkle with chocolate bits and nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
