Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 bottles red food color
    2 1/4 c. self-rising flour (all-purpose flour)
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. vinegar
    a pinch of salt
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl, blend together Crisco and sugar together until smooth. In a small bowl, add eggs, food coloring and pinch of salt; add to Crisco and sugar mixture. Separate flour and add small amounts to Crisco mixture. Add buttermilk; blend well. Add in rest of flour. Mix baking powder, vanilla and vinegar together; add to cake mixture. Separate into 4 greased cake pans and bake for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
