Potato Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) pkg. hash brown frozen potatoes
    1 large carton sour cream
    1 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 stick butter, melted
    1 can cream of chicken soup
Preparation
    Cook onion and butter together.
    Mix with sour cream, soup and 1/2 of cheese.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Top with remaining 1/2 of cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
