White Cake - cooking recipe

2 1/2 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
5 egg whites
Preparation

Sift flour and sugar.
Add shortening, 3/4 cup milk and vanilla; beat 2 minutes.
Add egg whites and remaining milk.
Beat 2 more minutes and bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
