Polish Bow Ties(Chrusciki) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg yolks
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 Tbsp. whiskey or rum
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    powdered sugar (confectioners)
Preparation
    Mix egg yolks, salt, vanilla, sugar, sour cream and whiskey or rum.
    Beat well with electric or hand mixer.
    Pour mixture into flour; knead well until dough is soft like noodle dough, or about full 20 minutes.
    Roll out very thin; cut strips 2 inches to 4 inches.
    Cut 1-inch slit in middle of each strip and pull out one end through.
    Fry in deep, hot shortening, turning once until golden brown (about 1 1/2 minutes).
    Drain.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Makes about 3 to 4 dozen.
