Bean And Escarole Soup With Italian Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. sweet Italian sausage, casings removed and meat crumbled
    1 c. coarsely chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3 c. (packed) tender inside escarole leaves, rinsed, trimmed and torn
    1 (19 oz.) can cannellini beans with liquid
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes with liquid
    1 1/2 c. canned chicken broth
    1/4 tsp. fennel seed
    salt and freshly ground pepper
Preparation
    Crumble sausage into microwave-safe 3-quart glass casserole with lid.
    Add onion and garlic.
    Microwave covered on High power until sausage is cooked through, 6 to 7 minutes.
