Patty'S Pumpernickel Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 pkg. dry yeast
    1 1/2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. molasses
    4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 Tbsp. caraway seed
    2 1/4 c. rye flour
    2 1/4 to 3 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    cornmeal to coat
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Stir in molasses, salt, shortening, caraway seed and rye flour.
    Beat until smooth.
    Mix in enough white flour to make dough easy to handle.
