Yum Yum Pineapple Salad(A Favorite At Holiday Time.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed pineapple, undrained
    1 lemon
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. Knox gelatine
    1/2 c. water
    3/4 c. grated Longhorn cheese
    1/2 pt. whipping cream or Cool Whip
Preparation
    Heat the crushed pineapple. Add juice of lemon and the sugar until sugar dissolves.
    Put the gelatine in 1/2 cup cold water and set 10 minutes, then add this to the hot mixture. Cool and put in icebox.
    When set enough, add the cheese and whipping cream, beaten stiff.
    Stir well and return to icebox.
