Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1 lb. butter
Preparation
    Mix flour and sugar in a large bowl.
    Rub in butter.
    Knead to form a smooth paste (use your hands).
    Flatten onto a cookie sheet (11 x 16-inch).
    Prick all over with a fork.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 30 minutes, until pale golden color.
    Remove from oven; cut into fingers while still in pan.
    Cool.
    Will make up to 72.
