Yeast Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
2 Tbsp. warm water
5 Tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. shortening
5 c. plain flour
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water and set aside.
Combine baking powder, salt, soda and flour.
Cut in shortening.
Add buttermilk, sugar and yeast mixture.
Knead dough slightly.
Put in covered bowl in refrigerator.
When chilled, roll out and cut.
Bake very slowly about 200\u00b0 until done.
Dough may be kept in refrigerator several days.
