Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 small pkg. strawberry jello
1 pt. fresh strawberries

Preparation

Mix sugar, water and cornstarch together in a saucepan.
Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly until glaze boils and thickens.
Remove from heat and add strawberry jello, stir until dissolved.
Pour over fresh fruit in baked 9-inch pie shell. Refrigerate; top with whipped topping after pie is cool if desired.
