Steak Teriyaki - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 flank steak
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1/2 c. sugar
    salt and pepper
    3 or 4 green onions
    1 or 2 cloves garlic, minced (if you choose)
Preparation
    Slice meat across grain in thin strips.
    Mix all other ingredients; pour over meat.
    Soak for 24 hours in refrigerator or 8 hours at room temperature.
    Turn halfway through soak.
    Cook over grill.
