Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. molasses
Preparation

Sift together the flour, sugar, salt, ginger and baking powder. Combine the butter and boiling water. When the butter melts, add the molasses.
Stir into the flour mixture and beat just enough to make a smooth batter.
Put in an 8-inch square pan. Bake 35 minutes at 325\u00b0.
