Nite Watch Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box cake mix (yellow or white)
    3 pkg. frozen coconut
    2 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1 large Cool Whip
Preparation
    Prepare and bake cake according to directions.
    Meanwhile, combine milk and sugar in a saucepan; cook until hot and add 1 package of coconut.
    Punch holes in cake, while it is still hot, and pour mixture over cake.
    Let cool and then turn upside-down onto a long board; cover with Cool Whip and top with remaining 2 packages coconut.
    Refrigerate.
