Old-Fashioned Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dried beans, soaked overnight
    2 qt. water
    1 lb. ham, cubed
    salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. celery
    1 onion
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in crock-pot.
    Cover and cook on low heat for 10 to 12 hours or high 5 to 6 hours.
    Makes 2 1/2 quarts.
