Grandma Niel'S Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 2/3 c. pretzels, broken in small pieces
3 cubes margarine, melted
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip, thawed
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry or raspberry jello
2 c. pineapple juice or water
1 large pkg. frozen whole strawberries (no sugar added)
Preparation

Mix cream cheese and sugar together.
Set aside.
Place pretzels and margarine in bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Cool slightly.
Spread Cool Whip on top and cool.
Dissolve jello in boiling pineapple juice or water. Stir in frozen strawberries and allow to thicken almost to jelled point (it jells real fast).
Spread over Cool Whip and refrigerate.
