Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening (part butter, part Crisco)
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 3/4 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar, mixed with 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Cream together sugar and shortening.
Beat in the eggs. Stir in cream of tartar, soda, salt and flour. Roll into balls the size of\ta
walnut.
Roll
in
the sugar cinnamon mixture. Place 2-inches
apart on ungreased cookie sheet.\tBake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until done.
Makes approximately 5 dozen.
