Fish Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick margarine or butter
    1 large onion, chopped
    3 large potatoes, diced
    2 c. water
    1 pkg. frozen haddock, thawed
    1 can Niblets corn with liquid
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 1/2 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Saute onion in margarine until soft; add diced potatoes, water, basil, salt and pepper.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
    Add the thawed haddock; simmer until it flakes easily, about 15 to 20 minutes. Add corn and evaporated milk.
    Heat through (do not boil) and serve.
