Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) can chopped sauerkraut, drained
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1 c. chopped apple
    1/4 Tbsp. chopped pimento (for color)
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar (wine vinegar is best)
Preparation
    Mix all together, being sure sugar is dissolved.
    Chill in refrigerator.
    Good with beans or as an accompaniment to meats.
