Hot Butter Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine (1 stick)
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. canned cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter; blend in sugar.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Add cream.
    Heat only until hot.
    Add vanilla.
    Serve warm over sliced cake, white or yellow.
