Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sirloin steak
    2 green bell peppers
    1 tsp. liquid smoke
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. red wine
    2 cloves garlic
    2 large onions
    6 mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    cooked rice
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Slice mushrooms, julienne onions and green peppers, crush garlic cloves and cut steak into 1/2-inch strips.
    Add oil to a hot skillet and brown beef strips.
    Add the vegetables, seasonings and wine to skillet and cover.
    Let simmer until vegetables are done.
    Do not over cook.
    To thicken sauce, mix the cornstarch with 1/4 cup of water and add to pan.
    Serve over cooked rice. Boneless chicken breast may be substituted for beef.
