California Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. onion, chopped
    4 c. rice, cooked
    2 c. sour cream
    1 c. cottage cheese
    8 oz. green chilies
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 c. sharp cheese, grated
Preparation
    Lightly grease 2-quart baking dish.
    In hot butter in skillet, saute onion until golden.
    Remove from heat; stir in rice and other ingredients with half of sharp cheese.
    Toss lightly to mix well.
    Put in baking dish and sprinkle rest of cheese on top. Bake uncovered 25 minutes at 375\u00b0 or until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
