Green Tomato Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. green tomatoes
    3 or 4 ripe tomatoes
    5 bell peppers
    6 hot peppers (I use 20 to 25 in mine)
    12 medium white onions
    1 stalk celery
    1 medium cabbage
    3 pt. white distilled vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    2 tsp. turmeric
    2 tsp. mustard
    2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    juice of 4 lemons
    15 ripe tomatoes
    3 green peppers
    2 onions
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    4 sticks cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. whole cloves (place in mesh bag)
Preparation
    Skin tomatoes by placing in hot water. Slice into large 4 quart container.
    Slice onions and peppers into the container. Stir in sugar, vinegar, salt, red pepper and bag containing cinnamon
    and
    cloves.
    Cook
    slowly
    a long time, about 3 hours, until
    the sauce thickens.
    Remove spice bag.
    Place in sterile pint jars and seal.
    Process 10 minutes.
