Aunt Fannie'S Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. yellow summer squash
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. cracker meal or bread crumbs
    2 eggs
    1 stick margarine
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Wash squash and cut up into pieces.
    Boil until tender.
    Drain well and mash.
    Add all but 1/2 of the margarine to squash.
    Melt remaining margarine.
    Pour squash mixture into baking dish, sprinkle with cracker meal and pour melted margarine on top of casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until bubbly and brown on top.
    Serves 6 to 8.
