Scottish Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. firm butter, cut in pieces
Preparation
    Stir flour, cornstarch and 1/4 cup sugar. Rub in butter with fingers until crumbly and no large particles remain.
    Place in ungreased 8 or 9-inch round baking pan with a removeable bottom or in a 9-inch spring-form pan.
    Press firmly into an even layer. Along edges make an impression with a fork. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 40 minutes.
    While hot, cut into wedges.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
