Butter Pecan Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. Hershey's milk chocolate chips, divided
    3/4 c. chopped pecans, divided
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a square pan, 8 x 8 x 2-inch or 9 x 9 x 2-inch.
    In a small mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy.
    Blend in flour.
    Stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips and 1/2 cup pecans.
    Spread into pan.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes until lightly brown.
