Kristen'S Yummy Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 c. cheese, grated
    1/2 c. potato chips, crushed
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in salted water with a bay leaf.
    When cold, peel and grate coarsely.
    Put potatoes in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix soup, oleo, sour cream, salt, pepper, onion and 1 cup cheese.
    Pour mixture over potatoes.
    Cover and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
    When finished baking, sprinkle top with 1/2 cup grated cheese and 1/2 cup potato chips.
    Bake a few more minutes.
