Possum Waller Breakfast Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. hot sausage
9-inch deep-dish pie shell (frozen is fine)
1 3/4 grated Swiss cheese
1/4 c. chopped green onion
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 c. milk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0. Cook sausage until done; crumble, then drain (or drain, then crumble). Sprinkle sausage in bottom of pie shell. Layer Swiss cheese on top. Sprinkle green onion on top. Lightly beat eggs in bowl. Add milk and beat lightly again. Pour egg mixture over sausage and cheese in pie shell. Place pie on cookie sheet in oven to catch any \"overflow.\" Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Cool on rack for 10 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
