Layered Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce, chopped
1/4 c. celery, chopped
1/4 c. sweet onion, chopped
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
crisp, crumbled bacon
Preparation

Layer lettuce, celery, onion, water chestnuts and peas in either a 9 x 12-inch serving dish or large serving bowl. Peas should be the top layer.
You can add any other salad ingredient to the layers: mushrooms, carrots, etc.
