Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. butter or shortening
2 sq. chocolate or Tbsp. cocoa
Preparation

Measure flour, salt and baking powder and sift together.
Melt shortening and chocolate over heat.
Gradually add sugar to egg mixture and blend.
Add chocolate mixture to egg and sugar mixture. Stir.
Mix in flour, then add nuts and vanilla.
Spread in greased pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
