Mexican Corn Bread Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    1 to 2 Tbsp. sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. oil
    3/4 lb. ground beef, salted, browned and drained
    10 oz. can creamed corn
    1 can green chilies (small)
    1/4 c. chopped onion (optional)
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Sift together the first 5 ingredients. May use juice from chilies mix and add to dry ingredients just until moistened.
    Add eggs, milk and oil.
