Small Chocolate Cake(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

2/3 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa (unsweetened powder)
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. instant coffee
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease an 8 x 8-inch pan.
Melt butter or margarine in a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat.
Remove from heat.
Stir in sugar and vanilla until well blended.
Beat in egg. Gradually add flour, coffee, cocoa and baking powder.
Stir until well blended.
Add nuts and mix.
Spread batter into pan and bake 30 minutes.
