Fresh Pear Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. fresh soft pears, finely chopped
2 c. sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
1 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
2 well beaten eggs
Preparation

Pare and core pears.
Mix with sugar and nuts.
Let stand for 1 hour, stir often as mixture makes its own juice.
Add dry ingredients to pears.
Add oil, vanilla and eggs.
Do not use beater, stir by hand.
Pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
