Mississippi Mud Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. butter
    4 tsp. vanilla extract
    3/4 c. cocoa
    2 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    1 large bag marshmallows
    6 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Combine 1 cup butter, 3 teaspoons vanilla, 1/4 cup cocoa, 1 cup nuts and next 3 ingredients in bowl, mixing well.
    Pour into large greased and floured baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until cake tests done.
    Melt marshmallows and spread over cake. Combine remaining 1/2 cup butter, 1 cup nuts, 1/2 cup cocoa and milk in saucepan until melted.
    Add remaining vanilla, mixing well.
    Frost cake.
    Chill for 1/2 hour.
