Italian Sausage Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. Italian sausage (hot or sweet or both)
    4 potatoes, quartered
    4 green peppers, quartered
    4 onions, quartered
    1 lb. mushrooms
    oregano
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Cut sausage into serving pieces and put in a roasting pan. Brown at 350\u00b0 in the oven, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
    If there are excessive drippings, drain some of them off.
    Add potatoes, green peppers, onions and spices to taste.
    Mix together and bake, covered, for 30 minutes.
    Add mushrooms and bake for another 30 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
