Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Pet-Ritz pie shells
    1/2 pt. heavy whipping cream
    1/2 pt. half and half
    1/2 c. crisp cooked bacon
    1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/3 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 c. minced onion
    dash of nutmeg
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Prebake pie shells until very lightly brown.
    Crumble cooked bacon in bottom of pie; layer cheese over bacon.
    Beat eggs, spices, cream, half and half and onion with mixer 2 to
    3 minutes. Pour over bacon and cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes. Check closely during last 10 minutes.
    Done when inserted knife comes out clean.
    Do not overcook.
    Makes 1 pie; double recipe makes 3.
