Texas Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. round steak
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
2 stalks celery, cut up
1 small onion, sliced
1 tomato, sliced
1 c. mushroom stems, drained
1 c. ketchup
1/2 c. brown sugar
Preparation
-
Cut steak in serving size pieces.
Dip in flour, salt, pepper and mustard, mixed together.
Brown pieces in hot oil.
Place in casserole.
Scatter cut up vegetables on top of meat.
Pour sauce of ketchup and brown sugar over all.
Cover with foil and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
