Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1 1/4 c. mashed bananas
    3 eggs
    1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening; add dry ingredients.
    Add 1/2 cup milk and bananas.
    Beat 2 minutes.
    Add remaining milk, eggs and
    vanilla. Beat another 2 minutes.
    Bake in greased and floured pans at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
