Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 egg
    1 c. sweetened condensed milk
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    baked pie shell
    Cool Whip (optional)
Preparation
    Put butter, flour, egg, sweetened condensed milk, and sugar into a saucepan. Bring to a boil.
    Add vanilla.
    Remove from heat. Pour into baked pie shell.
    Let cool.
    Add Cool Whip if desired.
