Carrot Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. water
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1 c. shredded carrots
1/2 c. raisins
1/4 tsp. ginger
Preparation

In a small saucepan, combine the butter or margarine and water.
